While i believe the higher power created the weather to keep the planet in check and balance i don't believe he sent a storm as revenge or punishment. I believe that because we continue to destroy the environment that mother nature is paying us back for trying to destroying it. Seems like the more we destroy the ozone layer the worse these storms are getting. It wouldn't surprise me to see storms in the future with larger scale damage and destruction.
