Konane, agreed. The neo-conservatism that has evolved since 1994 has left millions of conservatives disenfranchised. Every new libertarian is an ex-republican. Fiscal responsibility is only a small part of conservatism and means nothing without individual liberty and the Rule of Law. To keep banging the same drum and expecting it to suddenly sound like a piano is insane.

<br />We have one heck of a mess to clean up in our own backyard, and I believe a refresher on what conservatism ideologically represents is prudent for now since our primary education for the last half century has been liberalism. We can refine ... add or delete ... as time passes. I'm very confident in our awakening consciousness to do just that.
