			<description><![CDATA[<p>Subway to roll out breakfast nationwide April 5 Offering omelet sandwiches is part of strategy to expand customer base<br /><br />By Ashley M Heher, The Associated Press<br /><br />updated 12:56 p.m. ET, Thurs., March. 25, 2010<br /><br />CHICAGO - Subway is joining the breakfast scramble and will begin selling the popular and profitable meal early next month.<br /><br />The new menu is already being served in some cities but will be available at almost all of the sandwich chain&#x27;s 22,000 U.S. restaurants April 5.<br /><br />The breakfast menu sticks with Subway&#x27;s sandwich specialty and will feature a range of omelet sandwiches.<br /><br />Subway executives say the move is a way for the restaurant chain to win new customers. Many fast-food chains are taking aim at breakfast as they clamor for diners&#x27; dollars.
