Original Blog Entry: The dog ate my lottery ticket-not my homework !!

I bought 6 lottery scratch-offs.......3 2.00 Bingo and 3 2.00 Crossword.....my wife finished scratching-off the bingo and was looking for the crosswords.....we looked around the dining room table, floor.......I walked in the livingroom......and the pups were having a party with the crosswords..they thought they were toys because if it hits the floor it's fair game .......... 3 tickets...... 8 to 10 pieces per ticket.....some digested.....I picked the tickets up had wadded them up to throw away....and my wife said.... maybe they can scan the barcodes and see if you are a winner ......well it took me 40 minutes to piece two tickets together and see if they looked like winners..... 4 words = a free ticket.......(no go on the two.... not winners) the third had a strip out of the top half of the card.......so with the ticket scotched taped together with the barcode also taped together......I pulled in the drive thru and asked them you guys like puzzles? they laughed and so did I......10 minutes later after 2 employees did their best to get the ticket to scan........ the computer started ......DING....... a FIVE DOLLAR WINNER.....the ticket piece was stapled to the verifying ticket....I was asked you want tickets or 5 dollars........I said, I'll take the five ....... It was a challenge, it was something to do, It was funny.....I had a good laugh ......I hope you do !!! (I know the pups were happy too) beaudad....
