@ Joker I can fully accept what you said. It seems any reasonable person should be able to understand the conflicts you raise between various religions. @ Sully Glad you are still with us. Glad that you were lucky enough to somehow have the help of your sister-in-law after her death. I wouldn't attempt to explain that, I would just thankfully accept it.

Yes Konane, we do share the spirtual beliefs. And as you say, the tarnished history of religion has turned many a folks away from it. The universal intelligence is more understading than the conventional god/s in the texts of old.

Have read factions co-opted various religions over time for power, money, control just as they've done with governments and banks. However, a person's relationship with whatever they choose to call their deity is within their heart and in the long run can be controlled by no one. I have a story..When I was 35 I played co-ed softball, I was on first and the batter behind me hit a grounder to third well, of course they went for the double play but, I was on my way to 2nd. the 2nd baseman threw the ball right in my face, pure accident , It shattered the entire left side of my face cheekbone, browbone, orbital plate broken, after the ball hit me I spun around hit the ground broke my jaw and dislocated my shoulder, DID I HAVE AN ANGEL THAT DAY ? The people warming up to play after us were paramedics and firefighters , they saved my left eye and possibly some brain damage. When I got to the hospital they thought I was in a car accident, well, the story gets stranger. After I was treated and the plastic surgeon all had their shot at me, it was determined they could not operate right away because I was so swollen. I didn't have insurance so some Genius released me. They said come back tomarrow , I was given some shots and meds and sent on my way. That night laying on the couch sleeping ,my sister in law who had just passed away 3 weeks earlier appeared in my living room, she looked radiant, she told me to sit up and I did, remember both my eyes were swollen shut, I sat there for what seemed like forever , than we went back to the hospital , the surgeon was furious that I had been released there was an order that I was not to lay down PERIOD. I could have drown in my own blood. eerie, now you know my facination with Ghosthunters, It's been 13 years since Connie died I have not seen or dreampt of her since, no one in my family knows what I just told you except my husband, but , and I have no desire to convert anyone, I believe all good people will go to heaven and not so good people. but something or someone was on my side that day. and I believe when your grandma passes she'll go to a nice place and she'll be able to peek in on you know and than.... To me, faith is only as good as it's source. If a 10 year old boy is on a 3 story balcony of an apartment that is raging with fire, and the only way to escape is to jump onto the net below held by fire fighters, and the firefighter yells jump, but the boy doesn't trust the fire fighter, and/or is scared to do so, but all of a sudden hears his father's voice from below asking the little boy to jump, and to trust him, the boy will jump because he has faith in his father. he knows his father has ne... That's a great way to look at religion. The whole point of faith is to believe something with all your heart and soul, without any doubt, and without needing to eyeball it. The "I believe what I see" type of religion is not religion at all, and definitely not faith. I suppose "spirituality" could be used, but it doesn't seem very spiritual to me. There may be a God, but I don't believe he's the kind of God that would allow so many different religions to exist creating so much war and misery and death since the beginning of civilization. I'm an agnostic. I don't know for sure, but I won't proclaim to know for sure. Because If i did, I'd be just as bad as those who claim they have a monopoly on truth. And they don't.
