I studied this guy a couple years ago. There's lots on the web about him and some of his old radio clips. The question is did he over react when the sherriff came with a warrent, grab his gun and seal his own fate or was he assassinated. I tend to beleive the former. Many are locked and loaded and will not go peacefully.

I had heard something about this, but didn't realize the extent to which he was involved until about a year after his death.
