Thanks Konane. Everybody said this a priori! The last GD thing we need is more GD IRS govt. workers stealing more money from less and less working USAmericans.

Thanks JAP! I didn't do any number crunching but knew it would far exceed anything they were offering as estimates. Just another untraceable slush fund to party hardy with ..... not about health OR care at all.

I was thinking about the administrative cost of this health care bill before it was passed. I had it roughed out going with what Ms Pelosi said that 200,000 new jos would be created at the televised debate. My calculations for payroll and office space came to a massive figure yearly.

Tax report rehashes debate over cost effectiveness of healthcare reform law

A warning that federal tax officials will need more congressional funding to administer the Democrats health reform law has rekindled the partisan debate over its cost effectiveness.

Senior Republicans have said for months that the new responsibilities required of the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) under the legislation would saddle the agency with billions of dollars in additional costs expenses not accounted for in the bill.
