My microbiology class: Could Viruses Bacteria be causing Diabetes: i learned in microbiology class that some viruses can CAUSE CANCER...If this is true, could some viruses and bacteria be causing diabetes...I mean is simple, sugar is the body s main source of energy, is energy if you was a bacteria or virus you will go for the main source of energy which is the sugar in the pancreas...Cancer or the cell is not the main source of energy....
