I added some mods as part of this, and, as a result, the reduction in size and execution time wasn't, percentagewise, as great as the other two files, but there's still a noticible improvement.

Going to take a few days off. I may start on Ver. 9 but, since the go-ahead hasn't been received, I won't do anything time-consuming - just a little head start.
