The argument should be 'why' is our labor/productivity taxed, not 'how' they tax it. Any system that taxes productivity instead of consumption is more vulnerable to abuse.

<br />Give me Fair Tax any day because everything is laid out up front. We can't be s****** any worse than we already have been beginning with TARP in 2007. And besides it eliminates the IRS which was legislated unprecedented powers by the current regime.

I understand the promise; I just don't trust the system to do away with the current taxes after getting the "fair tax" going.
