I myself go to this little store up the road from where I live. I hang out with the good ole boys at times We watch people come in and out of there on those games. And more of them are the same ones. And I see them buying beer and papers to roll there dope. And then bring out a EBT card to buy more less junk food. Some of these people spend well over $60.00 to $100.00 2 to 3 times a week. The way I see it if you have that kind of money to spend you don't need any help from the Govt. The drug test thing to me sounds like a GREAT idea to me....... [ More ]

I feel that food stamps should be used only in certain, qualified, vetted stores. As matters stand now, these stamps can be used anywhere, anytime, and for anything (in spite of "rules" forbidding the purchase of alcohol, drugs, ect.). I am all for helping those in need and food stamps certainly fulfills that need. What I am not "for" is total indiscriminate use of these stamps.

I guess my biggest beef with the games is watching people throw away their money on these games but yet they have money to buy beer and paraphernalia products....and then use their food stamp card to check out for a bunch of junk food to keep their kids quiet while they play the games. If they get food stamps in the first place they have no business gambling away what money they do have! I feel that random drug tests should be given to anyone receiving any kind of govt. assistance!
