A Pandemic in whatever form it might come or whatever it might be doesnt have to strike all 40 million people...All they got to strike is the number of households...Let s say that, 40 million people is divided into: 2 parents and 3 childrens...

Then all the Pandemic has to strike is: 8 Million people and not 40 million people...Because, 1 person in 1 household will transmitt it to the other 4 person in the household.....

And that s how a country of 40 million people can be erased off the map...Just thought you should know...

So it doesnt have to infect the 40 million people but just 8 million...
