Excellent Bob! You're on the right path. Much success to you. I've been a self-employed maintenance man (home/property) for twenty years. I got my start with flyers. Word of mouth took over and within three months I was turning down work because I was too busy.

Good luck, Bob. You may have to think outside of the box. Inventory your skills and don't be afraid to try something different. For example, if you're handy around the house you can make money doing home repairs.

Got the boot on Tuesday. I was suppose to get extensive training in my first 90 day's but the owner did not have the patience or time to train me.

Small shop there is only 2 people in the shop and lots of work so rather than training me it was easier to terminate me.

Back on the UnEmployment Line. Sucks, but i will survive, as STYX say's it, i am a blue collar man!!
