Well, this is interesting?

I'm recalling a conversation I had with a friend yesterday. We talked about a lot of things ofcourse but one thing the friend stated just kept throwing different visiions in my minds eye. I won't say what was said but I will say, it made me wonder why I dream. It made me actually stop for a moment and ponder what the actual reasons are that our spirits leave our bodies and go to other dimensions and do or undo what has been done.

When I was younger and asked my mom why we dream, she stated We dream because Jesus is trying to tell us something. Unacceptable! is what I would say to her. She would say, That is the reason! I would say, Ok, think what you'd like. I then asked my Grandmother and her reason was somewhat the same. Baby we dream because the spirit speaks to us in ways that can't be uttered. Unacceptable, Grandma, but I love you!

As I got older and began referencing other things I realized that the answer for dreaming has the same answers as religion and science.

They have a purpose, everyone has a hypothesis and to some extent everyone's thesis statement starts off with the same sentence and paragraph structure but that's all. There are many theories about why we dream, I'm sure you're familiar:

Freud thought we dream as a result of our EGO collapsing

Jung thought we dream as a result of our brains trying to interpret our correlations.

Cayce thought we dream as a result of building ourselves up

Evans thought we dream as a result of data dumping

Crick and Mitchinson thought we dream as a result of neural network, hallucinations, another form of data dumping.

I believe that we dream as a result of the brain and our spirit trying to make a connections between thoughts and ideas, real and unreal, tangible and untangible.

Dreams are guides: Therefore, they are all and nothing.

Universal numbers for all and nothing are zero eight.

... [ More ]
