I've put up some entries about the Y2k thing, but I'm not certain how to link you to them. In short, I bet all that Y2k was going to happen... cashed in my retirement, quit a good career, put everything into building a refugee camp in the boonies. I was out there something over a year, me and a lot of chickens and some cats, well after Y2K didn't happen. Best time of my entire life.
