One person one vote is what has screwed this country and the likes of Michigan. Once people figured out they could vote themselves money GAME OVER!!!!!!!!!!!! The original intent was only land owners vote..................what we need is for only taxpayers to vote proportinal to entitlements/benefits received and that is it!!!!!!!!! You pay no federal income or state property/income tax you don't vote.

Of course one Republican governor being= unprincipled and dumb means that every Republican governor is in it to destroy the middle class. That's soooooo logical (sarcasm) Although I'll agree - that's a terrible call. Balancing a budget requires you to well..... balance the budget. And considering that Michigan has a flat tax (I think) he should have just raised the tax for all.

I read only a little about Michigan. But seen a comment to the article that Maddow was not accurate in the facts she gave out. I personaly would not believe one word that Maddow tells on her show. Search around for the actual facts on what she is saying to back up her story from other sources. I search for info to backup what is written or said to see for myself no matter who writes it or says it.
