The Minotaur

The Minotaur is back.

A while back, maybe 15 years ago, saw a Minotaur walk through the house. For the next two weeks, I couldn't sleep, couldn't eat and couldn't dream. My parents said they couldn't catch a number. Everything they played came as a double. If they played 616, then 606 would fall, they'd play 688, 368 would fall, If they played 124 it would come in the 4 digit 1244 the list goes on and on.

After a while, things returned to normal but talking about a topsy-turvy 2 weeks, I learned a lot.

FLASH FORWARD: THE MINOTAUR;

After he ascended the throne of Crete, Minos struggled with his brothers for the right to rule. Minos prayed to Poseidon to send him a snow-white bull, as a sign of approval. He was to sacrifice the bull in honor of Poseidon but decided to keep it instead because of its beauty. To punish Minos, Aphrodite made Pasipha , Minos' wife, fall madly in love with the bull from the sea, the Cretan Bull.[6] She had the archetypal craftsman Daedalus make a hollow wooden cow for her. Pasipha climbed into this wooden cow in order to copulate with the white bull. The offspring of their coupling was the monstrous Minotaur. Pasipha nursed him in his infancy, but he grew and became ferocious; being the unnatural offspring of man and beast, he had no natural source of nourishment and thus devoured man for sustenance
