As I was folding my laundry today I came across my favorite wash cloth. There's only one like it in the whole bunch....made in Canada somewhere and it's been around the house for ages. But...oooo....ahhhh...I look forward to my bath on the day it's at the top of the pile in the linen closet.

It got me to thinking of all those little moments when we luck out . Like when you scan the produce stand and the biggest ripest peach is at the top and no one else has been there yet. Or when you break open a chip bag and get to all the nice crispy unbroken ones first. It's your lucky day when you're staring in the donut case and ask for a glazed donut and the clerk gives you the oversized glaziest one.

This is how I imagine heaven to be somehow. Just moment after incredible moment of being there first and getting the best choice . LOL.

I appreciate those luck outs . Maybe because in real life it doesn't happen too often. I'm always the one that gives everyone the best of anything I have and keep the broken pieces for myself. And picking the sad little Christmas Tree in the lot that no one wants. Or the stray cat or dog. They all know where to find me.

But, hey, that's not so bad. Maybe I do luck out more then I realize. I'm going to ponder on that while I take my bath. Sigh......Looks like I'm not going to get my favorite cloth today...but that's alright. I got a purr today from my sweet old stray cat and that makes me feel the luckiest of all :)

... [ More ]
