Seems this would be a significant event, but yet there is no news of it.

It's not like there aren't any average to professional astronomers in the southern hemisphere.

Someone must be able to give some kind of report.

Even on youtube there seems to be a serious lack of coverage, a News Black Hole sort of speak.
