<br />I really enjoy reading your updates and I'm glad you're doing better. My former boss was on coumadin & I use to take him to the clinic for his readings so I'm a bit familiar with the subject. He hated blood draws - turned into a scared little boy at the sight of a needle. lol He was quite the character - worked with him for twenty years. For the past 12 days, 10-08-2011 to 10-19-2011, the doctors were trying to get my pt/inr between 2 and 3.

For the past 7 days, 10-14-2011 to 10-20-2011, I have been doing the outpatient coumadin clinic 2 times a day.

This morning they did a blood draw. My last levels on 10-18-2011 my pt/inr was 1.8.

It had dropped .1 point from the time of discharge of 10-14-2011 until 10-18-2011.

The nurse call me this afternoon and told me that my pt/inr was a whopping 2.5!!!!

She also told me that I no longer have to come in for the lovenox injections!!!

Once again I am thanking GOD for showing up and showing out!!!!!

I haven't stopped grinning or talking about it yet........ lol :D

My family is ready to pack up and move once I go to bed tonight........... lol :D
