While I was looking up this case I came across other articles on the web where it was discussed about the deletion of mention of the Minor v. Happersett (1875. The discussion has been out there awhile but I have not seen it prior to this. With so many sites on the web it would be easy to miss.

He was one of the persons associating together to form the nation, and was, consequently, one of its original citizens.

This natural born stuff is getting ridiculous now you have to have 2 citizen parents?? If it didn't take on the average 5-6 years to gain citizenship maybe, if you are born here to legally "here" parents you should be naturally born, now if your parents just come here to birth you and then leave that is another story. If mom and dad are illegal then????????????? I mean seriously the original colonies had no "citizens", therefore everybody born after is technically illegal!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!... [ More ]
