I remember reading an article in Time Magazine concerning wages at a GM plant in Fort Wayne, where some workers were paid $22 an hour PLUS benefits for slapping hubcaps on ONE side of the car. When employees are allowed to dictate what their employer will pay them, the result, THIS result, is inevitable.
