Some of the cases the ACLU takes on, I agree with. Other cases, not so much. That's the cost of big organizations. All in all, I prefer them to those who happily go along with whatever rolls out of the state and congressional legislatures.

So whats in the news lately? prayer in schools, public display of religious symbols, illegal immigration issue, this gun control issue. Speeches about how the constitution snarls gov't. Lawsuits over state rights issues. Federal funds for state monitored programs but with strings attached. The list goes on and on.
