Original Blog Entry: Richard...you and Karen are "Home For My Holidays"

Starting the day after Thanksgiving I turn on one of our local radio stations that starts playing Christmas music from then until the actual day. I always forget how soothing Christmas music is...it makes me want to buy up every holiday album out there and listen all year long :)

Whenever The Carpenter's come on I can't help thinking about Richard and Karen and how much he must miss her when her soulful voice comes over the waves. The only song I really remember of theirs was Top of the World from my youth. Never really heard the Christmas songs until these last few years and they make me incredibly sad when I think of Karen and her tragic early demise.

So,Richard,if you're out there...just wanted to let you know...this fan is thinking of Karen too while she is singing away in my living room and wishing she was Home for the Holidays. God Bless :)
