Oh Gee, I just had another thought, maybe if we let companies drill in America like they used to, prices will be lower and , and just one more thought maybe hundreds and thousands of folks will be back to work, just a small idea. Obama sent 2 BILLION Of our tax dollars to Brazil so they could drill deep sea drill for oil for China, Just maybe we could put our people back to work. I know how to lower the price of Gas. TAX IT AT 100%! Oh and to create jobs? Tax businesses out of themselves! Let's also tax the ability to live, and tax the right the right to vote. Of course, dumb and arrogant usually come together. And here we have a government that has put us trillions of dollars in debt that wants to regulate the oil companies because they know what's best.

I remember a video clip of a dem at a hearing mentioning nationalizing oil. They never give up. Vote them all out of office to solve this dem problem. Tea anyone LOL

The Democrats, worried about higher gas prices, want to set up a board that would apply a windfall profit tax as high as 100 percent on the sale of oil and gas, according to their legislation. The bill provides no specific guidance for how the board would determine what constitutes a reasonable profit.

Not that this money would be returned to the consumer, just that the gov't would get to dole the money out to their buddies.

Do people realize how many products from foods, plastics, chemicals, medicine are derived from oil?

Keep harassing businesses and they'll go away. Halliburton might decide that Dubai HQ is all it needs.
