Well now....it's been many moons ago since I last listened to one of Barbara Streisand's all time best albums on my old vinyl record. I even had the cassette tape.

Oh, how my sister and I loved this movie back in 1982 or 83, I believe. We were teens and mom would drop us off in the old Ford Granada,lol. We'd watch the double feature then stay to see it again. Long afternoons...but that VOICE! Yowsa. Bought the piano book that went along with the movie and learned every song,lol. Tinkle..Tinkle... Papa,can you hear me ???

So imagine my pleasure when I got one of these new doohickey ipod's and found out the album's available on iTunes. YAY! Bab's is singing away in my ear now about ... how he makes her feel .

Miss these songs. That's lottolaughs...it may be 2012 out there but in my house it's still the 80's. I wonder today how many young people would sit in a theatre watching a Streisand musical movie like that. So glad I grew up in that era...say what you will about it but the 80's rocked ;)
