Rick may be correct, but as badly as people drive in 2 dimensions, I sure as heck don't trust 'em driving in 3.

Oil has been a scam for decades. If it weren't for the early 20th century oil barons and their monopoly on energy, the world would be totally different. In a world where technology becomes obsolete every 18 months, it's very unusual that we haven't improved on the century-old internal combustion engine. By now we should be transporting ourselves like the Jetsons or maybe even Star Trek ('beam me up, Scotty').
