We'll know a yankee's here if somebody asks for iced tea.
We're biscuit eaters in East TN, don't see grits much. I only eat 'em fried in butter if I eat 'em, which I don't.
You know when the whole house smells like the outhouse that there's chittlins cookin' on the stove.

Even different areas of the United States have different dishes served.
Grits are rarely served in the north.
Iced tea is big in the south.
Snake in western states.
I like beef tongue but see it rarely sold in the south where I currently live.
Chittlins sold in southern markets but rarely seen in the northeast.
The list goes on and on.
Yuck food for some but a delicacy for some.
