bushs'big accomplisment was getting control of iraq oil as saddam hussein was dumping their oil on market.this drove the gas prices way down,something the oil companies hated,so,in their minds bush was a hero,making high prices of gas/oil we still have.

Right after election day in 2008 all you heard out of the Obama transition team when something started to point a little better for America was that O got elected and that is the reason for the improvements.
