rdgrnr, I'm sure somebody, at some Tea Party rally (in fact I'm quite certain that this has happened a few times) have had signs with racial comments. I don't know about monkeys, specifically. But the few extreme examples don't put him in the clear for claiming that's our deal. The Tea Party is about fiscal conservatism, and constitutional law. Louise, you're confused. The KKK is and always has been democrats. There are hardly any democrats in the Tea Party. The KKK wouldn't want anything to do with the Tea Party because a lot of our members are Black. The KKK and the Black Panthers and all your street gangs in Detroit riding around shooting people are solid democrats. If you don't like their activities, you should complain to the democrat national committee.
