Was her sister denied any treatments or surgery? If her income was too high for medicaid was she able to pay for her own care by cash or payment plan? She must have been denied insurance because of preexisting conditions.<br

I do not wish to see anyone go without healthcare. However in the manner the ACA went thru congress with over 2,000 pages of legislation and now over 3000 pages ACA tax being written I do have a problem with. The affordable health care legislation could have been done piece by piece and passed or vetoed by congress. Not this jumbo piece of legislation they did not even know what they were voting on. That is my problem. Now I will go read the article.

Yes,i see where she's coming from,as my wife has a dreadful disease,and i made it through a double heart artery bypass,with open heart surgery.we pay over 600 dollars a month for insurance.i just want others who are getting over on medicaid by not paying anything for health to pony up.

All my working life out of 50 years I had maybe 8 years of that covered by health insurance. So I know how it is to be without health insurance but I did not deny my family or myself medical care when it was needed. Paid it out of my own pocket.
