You can have the Dow industrials, cyclicles, utilities,retail etc, they are companies in a group to gauge the market conditions against others in the group.<br /><br />I reccommend, if your going to invest, by limit orders, not market orders, you usually get a better deal if you can pull it off.

<br />People resent if you say the stock market IS gambling, but they'll learn it's not even that honest. The public is going to become familiar with the word "rehypothecation".

Just so you know, if you take your money out of the stock market and park it in a nice, safe, bank CD , you've just sent it back into the financial markets , unless you bank at Bailey Building and Loan.
