I read that GM was offered 220 million dollars to open the Janesville plant for something or other when they were deciding on reopening one of their plants. They turned down the 220 million dollar offer and decided to go to another location. I did not book mark the article.

And the reason it is kept OPEN is because of possible future plans to resume production and add production employees with the improvement in the economy as long as Republicans stay out of the way and let the Democrats finish straightening out The Economic Messes that they caused.

The GM plant in question Has Never completely shut down! Herr Walker won his recall election by outspending his Democrat opponent by 7 times more money and yet the Republicans still lost control of the Wisconsin Senate which they held before recall. That,in effect neutered Herr Walker and the Republicans still called it a victory. Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha..
