I got the impression that it was the "Joe Biden Show" rather than a debate...I found him to be very rude and sad that the American people did not have a chance to see a REAL VP debate.!!!

Joe Biden showed what the Republicans deal with on a daily basis when there is a debate in congress. Same thing occurs in a news interview with dems or their surrogates. Steam roll the conversation. Not leadership material. More dictatorial material. <br

I also thought the moderator came across as somewhat lax in control. I thought the debate was even in both respects, but the total edge went to Mr.Ryan for him showing professionalism and cool in his answers and demeanor.

Old Dopey Joe was rude, arrogant and condescending to both Ryan and the Moderator.

His phony laughing and smiling and smirking and interrupting while Ryan was speaking was very unprofessional and unbecoming of a VP of the United States.

He came across as an overbearing boor and a loudmouth. Almost seemed like he slammed a few beforehand when he was shouting and like he was getting senile again when he spoke in hushed tones staring down at his hands, nutjob-like.

Ryan, on the other hand, came across as cool, calm, prepared, polite and professional.

Focus groups felt the same.

Ryan wins.
