Don't get J P Morgan mixed up with the men who run the business he built with others and without the greedy evil mentality of politicians. He was a true humanitarian. He was also an art collector including black art and knew the artists personally, when everyone hated on them and preferred to keep their achievements hidden. His given was probably like what Lila Wallace did when she gave. She put in stipulations and policed that all the money didn't go to just white men. They came back several times and questioned the staff from the CEO to the janitors. True. It happened right at the museum I worked at and I was right there in the lectures and symposia manning the camera. It's a known fact that white men are not fair and will do anything to keep the lion's share. Those wealthy (mostly old money) boycotted the lectures when usually 150 went to 8 people. I remember the few talking to us with tears in their eyes. Lila Wallace and JP Morgan knew that and still reach from their graves with money to help with the uneqalities we have in America. So don't confuse true humanitarians with greedy business men and politians.... [ More ]

I really enjoyed the show. Already knew about fierce competition among businessman but it was nice to see it played out on the tube.

I did not know that J P Morgan gave the gov't a 100 million dollar loan to keep the gov't from collapse.

Next week should be real good as rivals join together to get involved in electing a president. Apparently some candidate is bad mouthing big buisness owners.

That rings a bell of who got beat up recently for being a successful business man.

... [ More ]
