Haven't had an instant banker/debit card for almost 20 years so no plans to change that either. Too much identity theft possibility which has become big business. Also don't have any grocery/drug store membership cards required to get a dsicount which amounts to the regular price down the street at Publix.

<br />If we go SOCIALIST like our homegrown lefties have been pushing for the past 40 years, you can bank on the mother of all ID cards where denial of anything will be punishment for not toeing the line. I vividly remember the PC brigade during Clinton's tenure which is only a premier of things to come.

I'm talkin the real deal, the one you'll be require to produce and swipe whenever you want to buy gas, order a pizza, go to a movie. The one that is the KING of all database collectors. The one that'll tell you sorry you've reached your gas quota for the month and if continue with this purchase you'll be charged an extra 50 cents per gallon or sorry your health insurance says you've had too many pizza's this month and if you buy this one your rates are going to increase. The one that will eventually lead to the cardless chip inserted inside the skin! That's the one i'm thinkin of. Not the SS card you can buy down the street for $20...... [ More ]

Well we already have a national ID card and that's our social security card .... they just haven't moved to chip it.

<br />How else are we going to combat the current invasion, also illegals voting and multi-dipping into social services?? <br /><br />In fact I favor mandating all immigrants or potential visiting workers being required to have a chipped ID card as a requirement for their being here. Deport immediately anyone found, turned in, picked up who doesn't have it.
