I'll be trying 'em too but mostly for other bugs like chiggers and ticks and gnats which are bad this year.<br />We don't get skeeters too bad around here.

I nuke the yard with the mosquito repellent Cutter bug free back yard you hook a garden hose to, then use skin so soft, tiki torches etc. And it figures only the female skeeters are the blood secours.

You know Ridge, My Grandmother used baby oil and lemon juice to keep the insects at bay, and I can't ever remember being bitten as a kid. As a matter of fact I use A real lemon and wipe it across my dog's coats when they go outside and it definitely keeps the ticks and fleas off of them.

Sprays like DEET and OFF are insect repellents, not insecticides, but I don't like to use them anyways. They say to buy natural essential oils like Citronella oils from a health food store, dilute it just a little with water and put in spray bottles. The other alternative is to buy clove oil, then use it in a spray bottle.

I think I'd go with the Skin-So-Soft.

I don't like the idea of spraying insecticides on my skin. There is new and developing research that claims Parkinson's Disease and other nerve disorders are caused by exposure to insecticides over your lifetime.
