The big factor there is that it will cut down on trade deficits. Both for the US who manufacture the product and Canada who supply the crude. <br />Trade deficits put a big crunch in the US money supply.

It'll definitely create jobs but, at what expense? We have enough oil here to sustain ourselves and don't need anyone but, what are the cons? For every good in stuff like this, there's a bad. They need to just hash it all out on television for people to see and go from there.
