The problem is that gay activist groups chose to hang the wrong name onto them which offended a great many voters. Had they the good sense to call it something different it likely would have been minuscule in the overall picture. They shot themselves in their own foot.

It is conservative sites, conservative talk radio that are pushing for closed borders, true immigration reform so that is the compelling argument about liberal versus conservative. I certainly don't see any rationaile coming from the liberal MSM which tires to PC gloss everything over they don't intentionally slant. BTW, I'm not a true conservative but even I was put off by the gay "marriage" issue ..... had they called it anything other than what symbolized hetrose... [ More ]

How do we get people to look at the real issues? How do we get people to stop looking at our country's political system as democratic, republician, conservative, liberal, etc.? That's the damn problem. Maybe if we quit fighting each other we can see the real issues as well. WE THE PEOPLE! We are all gonna go down together and the ones that were up the highest will hit the ground the hardest. <br

We've been re-programmed for the past 40 years to do what we're told and that everyone will look out for our welfare. We've been re-educated that conservatives are all bad .... but real conservatives are the ones believing in US sovereignty and securing our borders instead of allowing us to fall under a super bureaucratic elitist rule. Looks like the NWO-One world government theory is becoming more real everyday! Bush's daddy used to spew that crap when he was pres. I never bought into it because i just didn't believe america would ever go for the lower wages, lower living conditions, less freedom type system. But were rapidly approaching it. If you send all the good jobs out and replace your majority with people who are used to being screwed around by their government and accept it as just a way of life, then it all comes into play. I knew for sure not much would be done with the immigration problem because they want it! Doesn't matter what we want, they know whats best for us...... [ More ]
