a true law renegade doesn't care about anyone or anything....not their own kids, their own lives or ANYTHING........Until they have to pay out of their pockets for it a few times. There may be hard nuts to crack, but enough tickets, they change their minds. I hate to see these little moms who run around high as can be with their kids jumping all over the car. Usually, that is the same woman I have to dodge on the road just to make it from point A to point B.

there are rare instances where you could be trapped by the seat belt.its rare but it has happened.

<br />Yes it is sad if a seat belt could have saved her life. Having the law didn't make any difference to her. Understand I wore my seat belt voluntarily since 1969. Nothing prevents a person from wearing it. The point is, I don't want the Government ordering me to wear it and ticketing me. The less Government, the better.

i agree the seat belt is good and does save lives.my best friend is a cop to the north of me here in a small town.but they will make millions this coming holiday weekend on the tickets for seat belts.

a young lady in a ford explorer died the other day here . ejected from vehicle - no seat belt on. some laws are good.

i just got rid of an iroc-z28 camaro.that thing was a magnet for cops looking to mess with me.had it a few years.loved that car.

<br />I've worn a seat belt since 1969. When I opened up the Firebird to 140mph - I just felt the need to be belted! But I don't see the need for a law and fines!<br /><br
