Okay...Okay...confession time. I have some girl crushes ,lol. It doesn't matter what sex you are...everyone has crushes on both males and females at times.

Joan Crawford...check! Bette Davis? Check! Barbara Stanwyck? Check! Catherine Deneuve? Check! Lana Turner? Check!

That does it for the movie world but my main squeezes lately have been on the Food Network.

Ina Garten...otherwise known as the Barefoot Contessa really rocks my world :) Like my title says...I can watch this lady cook an old boot. Something about her voice and manner...her show is great to watch right before bedtime...she's very soothing. And I love how they film the show in the East Hamptons where she lives...it's so beautiful there. My dream date used to be Robert DeNiro but he has some stiff competition now,lol. Ina would be my dream date if she cooked me up one of her suppers...no contest!!

Alex Guarneschelli, a judge on Chopped is another chickie I just so admire. Love her demeanor...she's a tough judge but then when you see her compete on other food shows she's so humble and cute. I was rooting for her so hard to become the next Iron Chef and was SO HAPPY when she did it!!

Anne Burrell is one tough cookie chef but she's a character and so very knowledgable.

I envy all these women....they just know how to cook EVERYTHING. I'm a pretty good cook myself but sometimes don't know my flavors very well...like what spices to mix together.

Wow...to be able to go into the fridge and just know what to DO with everything..to come up with recipes at the top of your head...just WOW.

That's talent!
