2 little boys, took the liquid creamers and had a fun game of stomp the creamer and see how far they could make it splash, boys will be boys, I get it, I could see my kid turning that into a fun game when he was that age, What got us, was the mothers reaction, she called her children stupid m'er f'ers. Good find. Last night was an EBT disaster, not only did they strip the candy and chip aisle clean, many are having giant parties tonight, the wings, ice, margarita mix, pop, bloody mary mix, when it was time to pay for the plates, cups, forks, foil pans, sterno, many of them were whipping out those new 100 dollar bills. With the increase in medicaid enrollment in states under the ACA will be receiving money from the feds for a few years. Guess what? What is going to happen to medicaid in those states when federal support fund dry up for the states in the program. That is why a lot of states did not enter the medicaid expansion program. They would have been left hanging for the cost or cut participatation in the program.<br

n response to the economic downturn, the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (ARRA) increased Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) benefits across the board as a way of delivering high bang-for-the-buck economic stimulus and easing hardship.

In August 2010, Congress passed and the President signed P.L. 111-226, which accelerated the sunset of the ARRA benefit increase to April 2014 and used the estimated savings for state fiscal relief through additional federal funding for school districts to maintain teachers jobs and maintaining a higher federal match for Medicaid costs. Four months later, the Healthy Hunger-Free Kids Act (P.L. 111-296), which reauthorized Child Nutrition programs, further accelerated the sunset date of ARRA to October 31, 2013, to offset the cost of the legislation. As a result, beginning on November 1, 2013, SNAP benefit levels will be based on the cost of the June 2013 TFP, which is lower than the ARRA levels.
