Obama care was voted on it's the law while me and my family don't have to abide by this law at this point in time. And many people will avoid signing up, refuse to sign up face hefty fines. The only way out of this mess is to repeal the law, what band wagon do we jump on to get this going.

You weren't asked to have Obamacare, IT was forced upon you, not the other way around, and if people can't see that , then yes they voted for the right person. And it's because we put up with it all these years. And that was under the assurance that we would have privacy. But now they are taking away any assurance of privacy. They are putting it in the contract that you will have NO PRIVACY. That means it's "come on down!" for ANYBODY who wants to inspect your personal medical records. ANYBODY! Corporate America has many ways of finding just about anything on you if you left a paper trail. Or in the case now a computer generated trail. Some of us older folk who never were ill or had anything major happen to them are probably in the clear but anyone born 25 years ago the paper/computer trail started at birth every shot they got every doctors visit and ever/ illness or hospital stay has a record.

This country has been going to hell in a hand basket for a long time medical records communication devises and everything in between are compromised when these new fangled computers were developed that opened the doors for all sorts of corruption as i type these caricatures some server is collecting the data. You're citing a specific procedure prescribed by law that keeps specific criminals and nutjobs from buying guns. That's all the gun shops are told - if you have a felony on your record or a mental health issue that precludes you from buying a gun. Alright wise man go down to your local legal gun shop and purchase a new weapon fill out everything and lie about never having been in a mental ward. When the purchase order is denied because you lied ... how do you think they new about your stay in the hospital. It's because all your records are tied to your SS number. And there isn't a thing you can do about it.

But in this case they are going to allow access to your private information. And they got caught adding this provision in a sneaky, clandestine manner. They didn't want you to know about it until it happened. And then when you complained, they would divulge the code that made it legal and covered their asses. Pretty sleazy, huh? When i had HMO's they asked for name address an SS number. Buy a new vehicle they ask for your SS number. Finance a loan they ask for your SS number. Do i like the fact that they asked me for it every time i have to conduct business with the hierarchy NO but there's no other way around it. I detest giving it out and avoid it at ever possible event.
