I too look back at some of the little things that meant a lot before, and realize those little things just don't have the same meaning as they had years ago. Little by little our rights and aspirations being stripped away from us and all the while everyone just stays dormant and does nothing...

Sometimes when I think of how the Democrats are intentionally destroying our country, I recall a song from way back when.

I don't know the name, maybe I'll look it up and post it later.

But the verse I remember went something like this:

Don't it always seem to go

That you don't know what you've got 'til it's gone

Pave Paradise and put up a parking lot.

(or something like that)

I've also noticed that as the people who hate this country are now at the helm and consolidating their power and have almost achieved total and possibly permanent control, that I find myself appreciating more the little things that remind me of the old days and the way people used to love this country and be proud of it.

This video below is a rendition of the National Anthem that at one time not long ago I would have thought to be irreverent and disrespectful. But now, as age mellows me and I see our freedom and liberty quickly slipping away, I just appreciate the fact that it's sung by young people who just might still love this country as much as I do.
