You have never had to deal with bullying in an educational setting, I have numerous times. You can't do what you want to do. There are specific guidelines that you better follow or you could be arrested, fired, or sued. When the student's rights are involved you have to follow proper procedure. You did right to stay clear of the educational field, it's not your calling. You don't deal with children the same way you would deal with an adult. Those children have parents and some are not so rational and you could catch a hot bullet in the head if their child is not treated fairly. And in order to charge a child with bullying, you better follow proper procedure. This has nothing to do with being scared, because if you are you won't last. They will pick you a part the first day if they even suspect that you are weak and all mouth. You wouldn't be doing whatever you do if it were not for teachers.
