The US was asked to leave. We trained them to defend their own country. It makes no sense to be in a country helping them and you're doing all the fighting. What's happening in Iraq has been going on for centuries. Getting involved in a civil war makes no military sense. The US is viewed as outsiders interfering in the affairs of a sovereign nation, that is why so many terrorists are coming from other countries to fight against our American soldiers. Iraq is a tinderbox and has always been one. Our troops need to come home land let those coward Iraqi soldiers fight or take flight. You are right LiLspeedy if Bush hadn't lied there would be any stay or leave the da*n country, farther more the blame isn't on anything the President did, because he fulfilled his promise of getting our troops out of that hell hole. Yes, we shouldn't never been there anyway. Who are we to tell a solvent nation who their leader can be ,you leave yourself or your country in this unwinnable situation. <br />Obama's chickens are coming home to roost, as they say. The same thing will happen in Afghanistan, because Obama is trying to pull out on a deadline, rather than ensuring the country can defend itself. Remember also that Obama said repeatedly that the US going into Afghanistan was the correct course of action. How morbid can a repub be? To actually compare how many brave American soldiers died under Bush and Obama is beyond comprehension. That's a repub for you, everything is numbers with them.
