Height 6'1

current weight 253 lbs

When I was in my early 20s I was 185 lbs. Early 20s was a long time ago.

If I get down to 210 to 215 I will be happy.

Still walking almost daily in the am and pm. slacked off and took a break the last few days. When I first started I was doing about 4/10 of a mile in am and pm. I increased gradually to where I am up to a mile in am and pm. All depends on my energy level and desire for how much I want to walk that day.

Before I started walking my hips hurt from walking what I did and my leg strength was lacking. Legs muscles have built up and my hips stopped aching. When I take my walk I do lean and touch toe exercise. When I first started that my fingers were about five or six inches from my toes. Now when I do lean and touch toes my fingertips reach the top of my toes. That loosened up the leg ligaments.

Been doing some ab exercises and my abs are starting to build muscle. I sit on floor or edge of bed with my hands behind me holding my torso up, then I raise one leg at a time for the length of time and hold it for as long as I desire. I also raise both legs at the same time.

My stomach looks as though it has decreased in size and I can take up my belt another notch. Weighed myself last month about this time and again this month at this time. weight has stayed the same over the thirty day period. Figure I am having a body shift composition from fat to muscle. once muscle stabilizes my weight should decrease.

My next exercise is going to be a dead lift exercise. Will start out with a comfortable weight and build up from there. I read about the dead lift exercise and it said it was a great exercise. It also said it was a great weight loss exercise.

http://www.leanitup.com/deadlifts-the-kind-of-exercises/

Here is another article on dead lift.

If you decide to do dead lift, use proper form when doing it.

http://hashimashi.com/benefits-of-deadlifts

... [ More ]
