So sorry to hear this. I am very surprised to hear that they did not take the body. How could the police determine on their own that it was natural causes? Very strange. Regardless, I am very sorry and hope you'll be OK after this traumatic experience.

Just talked to one of the sons and they said I could stay there until find a place, or when the power goes out, whichever comes first. I'm not sure i want to stay because it's all so weird now, so sudden to take it all in.

My condolences are your loss. Just last month, my girlfriend and I attended a July 4th pool party where I met the host's brother. He had diabetes but, you'd never know it. This guy was bouncing all around having fun and was just fun to hang with. It wasn't even a week later when we learned he passed away. It was so surreal...I had just gave him my number because he liked cars and wanted to hit the track with me. I was speechless.

<br />The body is still here which is weird because the cops said that when it's natural causes they dont take the body, so Im creepping out now with a dead body in the room in the house. The sons apparently live nearby so I dont what's taking them so long to get here.

I just spoke with him yesterday around 10 am when i made him something to eat. Then about an hour later he was mumbling something about his medication being short from the Pharmacy.

He's had a stroke about 3 years ago and an enlarged heart, gained a lot of weight and had trouble moving around, so i drove him to the drug store and food shopping every week.

Around 4pm yesterday, he asked me to piick him up a pint of rum to help him sleep, but never took it. So around 7 pm, I looked and he was sleeping in his room naked, but he's done that before when he sleeps on the meds, so I thought nothing of it and closed the door.

He usually feeds the dog in the morning around 7am and walks her. But he didn't so around 9 am I fed the dog and took her out in the back so she can poop. So around 3 pm I noticed that he was still sleeping which was unusual because like i said he complained of no sleep, So i called on him and he didn't answer, yelled his name but nothing. So i went to touch him and he was cold to the touch, and his stomach wan't moving up and down. I freaked cause ive never seen a dead body in person before.

I called the police and now they just left about a half hour ago. The poor dog is licking his nose and crying. Waiting for the relatives to come by.

So sad, but Im still shaken up. so weird. He never complained about something being wrong.
