The U.S and NATO are setting up a fast response and headquarters in eastern Europe to fight Russia if Putin decides to attack a NATO country. Just another step to war. Then it could easily escalate to a world war with us fighting Russia and ISIS. Our economy is in such dire straits already, this could be the SHTF scenario for us. Might be wise to stock up on supplies, food, water, etc. If the economy goes to hell, I'm pretty sure no one is coming in the store to buy furniture.

I know some in Washington would like us to start leaving Iraq now. To begin withdrawing before our commanders tell us we are ready would be dangerous for Iraq, for the region, and for the United States. It would mean surrendering the future of Iraq to al Qaeda. It would mean that we'd be risking mass killings on a horrific scale. It would mean we'd allow the terrorists to establish a safe haven in Iraq to replace the one they lost in Afghanistan. It would mean increasing the probability that American troops would have to return at some later date to confront an enemy that is even more dangerous.

Once he became President, Obama did just what Bush warned against. He over-ruled his military advisors and ended our presence in Iraq. Since then, as predicted, there have been mass killings at the hands of al Qaeda-affiliated terrorists, those terrorists have had a safe haven, the future of Iraq has been surrendered and is now on the verge of becoming a radical Islamist state. And, also as predicted by Bush, American troops are slowly and incrementely creeping back into Iraq preparing to confront our enemy. An enemy that has grown stronger and deadlier in the six year vacation America has taken from the Global War on Terror under our current Commander-in-Chief.
