			<description><![CDATA[<p>This is such a sensitive subject.  So many people who are suffering with debilitating illnesses are waiting for a cure. It&#x27;s not necessary to harm life. They can use the cells from umbilical cords. Why is this practice being banned too? It should be far less controversial than using stem cells from embryos. Also, most of the embryos that are in labs will be destroyed anyway. I don&#x27;t agree that approving this research will encourage women to get pregnant to sell fetuses for research. Just the idea makes me shiver with revolt. However, if you knew your baby&#x27;s umbilical cord could repair the brain of a stroke victim, why would anyone view that as sinful or &#x22;violating human dignity.&#x22;  There is nothing dignified about losing control of your speech, your muscles, your bowels and your senses. In my very humble opinion, this is not a step forward for pro-life at all, but a cruel choice for pro-death. How can we spend billions on a war and then tell millions of Americans it is immoral to save their lives?... &#x5b;&#xa0;<a href="/blogentry/9446#c6935">More</a>&#xa0;&#x5d;</p>]]></description>
